In the unfortunate event that we become incapacitated or pass unexpectedly we want to know that our loved ones are taken care of in the manner we choose and that our estate is managed according to our wishes. To guarantee that this happens, a lawyer will draw up a myriad of necessary papers to spell out our provisions. Examples of these documents include a trust, a certification of trust, durable powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, wills, living wills, beneficiary designations, guardianship designations and many, many more. Once these documents have been drawn up, some must be notarized and some need witnesses to their signing. That's where we come in.
Mobile Notary Marin makes this an easy and affordable experience. Because every estate is different, we work with you, your lawyer, or both of you to gauge your needs for the signing. Because there are a large amount of documents to sign and notarize Mobile Notary Marin caps our fee at $125 for almost anywhere in Marin (except West Marin and remote areas of Mill Valley and Tiburon----call, text, or email for a quote for these areas or anywhere outside of Marin). This includes our mobile fee and notarizations pertaining to your estate planning package. Signature witnesses are an extra $45 (in addition to the $125 fee) and must be booked 7 days in advance of the signing.
Same day service is available for an extra fee, but only if our schedule permits. Signature witnesses are not guaranteed if booked less than 7 days in advance. If we are able to accommodate a witness with less than 7 days notice, the fee is $65.
